When he heard about our Knights' special Catalyst techniques, he came up with a simple solution: A battleship fitted with a rack of smartbombs. With such a weapon, he could destroy the New Order once and for all. The rebels have come a long way from smartbombing Merlins, haven't they? No, I suppose not.
valentine suggested the possibility of killing permit-holders. This is a tactic that is often threatened, but never executed. Rebel miners in the system urged valentine to reconsider. Violence against miners is a frightening thing. Why not wardec the New Order instead?
valentine became obsessed with the destruction of the New Order. But he couldn't quite make up his mind whether he wanted to kill its Agents or the miners who buy permits.
Meanwhile, explorer Hannyaball Havoyan wandered into New Order territory to learn more about the phenomenon. It was then that he heard about something happening on March 1st.
But it wasn't the New Order threatening to do something on March 1st. blood valentine vowed the destruction of the permit-holding miners.
For some reason, he wouldn't gank them just yet. Why did miner ganking need to be calendared so far in advance? No one knew. But he was very specific about it.
valentine called me out in system. Nothing happened. News of the impending March 1st doomsday spread.
Then valentine began claiming that he was under orders from powerful friends in nullsec not to kill anyone until March. He could not explain why.
Shanija noticed that valentine was a member of the Flower Revage Cartel, founded by Szlam, star of a recent MinerBumping post.
When I deigned to make a personal appearance in system, I was immediately contacted by valentine. What did he want? Could he shed light on the March 1st deadline and his mysterious friends in nullsec? Was this the end of the New Order?

ReplyDeleteNow I’m no military tactics whiz kid, but even I know that if you have a plan and a date when this “plan” goes into action, you should at the very least keep it a secret till then. And why is it always “later” with these resistance types? One day someone might actually have friends in a Null alliance and come and blow us all up, and I think we would all enjoy that, the miners because they did something, and the NO because the miners did something.

Hey y'all. I absolutely loved this post, it would be great to see if blood valentine ain't a poser and makes good on this threat. I also want to mention I am a small producer of some T1 missile types and T1 drones, based in Khanid, and would be honored to make some for the New Order to use. The only thing would be getting the stuff there, I don't have the time to do so myself sadly.

I still want to know what a Flower Revage is. I tmust be important, since there is a cartel. I asked Szlam, but he seemed to be too drunk to communicate the answer. Possibly the corp was named while he was impaired. Anyway, if you know, please share the answer!
ReplyDeleteI googled it and the spelling suggestion was for a Flower Rivage, and it came up with a hotel. Maybe his corp/cartel is meant to be a hotel for Code violators.

ReplyDeleteI believe that the wardec was made before realizing that New Order wasn't going to fight an open war therefore battleships weren't really going to help in this case...and in the middle of this, his account was suspended for comments made in local, thus the reason why he hasn't been seen lately.
