When Agent Ophidia Black heard Aiden Sankara expressing strange ideas about the New Order, she interviewed him in an attempt to locate the source of the trouble.
Aiden linked an anti-Order blog called FREEHIGHSEC, apparently unaware that it went defunct several months ago. I don't know how he could be inspired by such nonsense; the blog literally posted a "Mission Accomplished" post back in February. Yet the New Order still exists, somehow.
The damage was done. Aiden's worldview was topsy-turvy.
Aiden also claimed that he was actively seeking the death of the New Order. Only on his secret PvP alt, though. It occurs to me that if all these miners' secret PvP alts banded together, they could form one of those PvP fleets that they're always threatening us with.
Aiden ended the conversation, but not before confessing his desire that CCP make highsec safer than it already is.
But enough about Aiden. We know that we have nothing to fear from some random carebear's defunct blog. Time for the main course, a new anti-Order blog that threatens to destroy the New Order once and for all. It is EyeOnTheOrder, though its title banner says "The New Order Ends soon", which I suppose is the official title of the blog. The author claims to be "a simple guy looking to live a simple life".
So far, the blog consists of just one post, made in July, titled "Delivered at last". It's brief, and worth reading in full:
"What is it that drives the New Order to be such as it is? Is it something that enables them to become more than they think they can be? Or is it something that makes them think that they can keep others from becoming more than them? I am at a loss to understand the rationale behind such an organization that is so weak as to have to prey upon those who cannot defend themselves. An organization that has no purpose but to extort others. Do I fear them? Not at all. Do I pity them. That I do 100%. They are a bunch of misguided MMO players who have not got the intelligence to do anything else except make others fail. Problem with that is, it is impossible to fail at EvE as long as there is one person willing to be helpful to those who are less fortunate. You might be inclined to write the blog off as just another crackpot rebel rag. But once you discover the identity of the author of the blog, you might want to think again:
"I will do everything in my power to maintain the anonymity of those who are part of my circle and show them that there are those out there that have taken a look into the depths of EvE and seen the horrors that the New Order has caused to rise in what used to be a peaceful environment."
Yes, it's none other than Ledrian Saisima, the star of our five-part series, Sins of a Solar Spymaster. Earlier this year, Ledrian... Well, it's a long story. Needless to say, we must take the January 1, 2014 deadline seriously. Perhaps even more seriously than the infamous March 1, 2013 deadline. Mark your calendars, friends, and hope for the best.
Hi-sec bait rorqual of DOOM?
ReplyDelete-EasyKill
Those New Order haters fail to see that the Order is the only thing that enables them to actually do something in EVE. Maybe that's why they're obsessed with it, they love it even if they don't understand why.
ReplyDeleteOMG the Order is DOOOOOOOMED!!!
ReplyDeleteHmm a month and a half old blog that has zero comments. 5 whole pilots? If they're like Ledrian Saisima, they have the attention span of a coked up ferret, and can't be bothered to actually be ATK while playing.
Don't underestimate the Master Spai™, that is what he wants you to believe! It's part of his Master Plan™.
DeleteDid this guy spell the "Visionaries" wrong?
ReplyDeleteThat's part of the plan
DeleteYou know you can trust someone who makes a spelling mistake in his own corp name. And what about "invinciable" in his bio? Cool guys don't double check what they write.
DeleteLedrian's prose is as poor as his spy work.
ReplyDeleteSomebody needs to tell Ledrian's Dad that he's out of his room and bothering the neighbors again.
ReplyDeleteBBB
Maybe Edward, I mean Ledrian is going to get some of his buddies over at Panasonic to help
ReplyDeleteCame in hoping for The Murderous Madness of Minerdom, Part 2... left a little sad :(
ReplyDeleteAs has been hinted at above, the solar spymaster has posted on a google blog that lists his name, his home location, previous employment, close personal friendship with Williams Shatner, etc.......
ReplyDeleteSpying just hasn't been the same since wikileaks......
Wanna see what a spymaster looks like?

The Solar Spymaster really needs to learn that dark blue text on a dark background is excruciatingly bad for the eyes.
ReplyDeleteCan the aggressor in a war open itself for allies, or only the defender? If you join a war as an ally, can you awox your ally? I'd offer "assistance" to NO's WTs :P
ReplyDeleteIf aggressors can get allies, we should open up for them...I'd offer up my scout to assist. It would be fun hunting WTs while scouting for gank targets.
i think only defenders can bring in allies.
Deletebut it would be EXCELLENT to kill a noncompliant mining war target, and not lose a cat!
I believe you can only awox your own corp, based on the fact that attacking non-corp members of your own fleet in High-sec = CONCORDOKEN. If your fleetmates aren't fair game, it's safe to bet on War Allies also being avenged by Concord.
DeleteThe best way to awox them would be to join their corp the old fashioned away. Or just join their wardec enemy and blap away.
