Forum Freakout, Part 6

Previously, on MinerBumping... After two campaigns of spamming and abusing the ISDs on two separate days, Fin Udan didn't have much time left in EVE. Or so he thought. To his amazement, the ISD didn't issue him a warning. Nor did they even lock his ISD call-out thread, though they removed the text of the original post in the thread. It gradually dawned on Fin that he had become some kind of anomaly: An unbannable poster. Now it was only a question of what he would do with that power.

Heavy is the head that wears the crown. Fin Udan found himself the subject of complaints from other denizens of the Market Discussions subforum. Some of the complaints bore a striking resemblance to the criticisms that Fin himself had once leveled against others.

Fin was fascinated by his own sense of forum invincibility. He intended to use it as long as it lasted. But he'd long since lost his love for EVE.

Fin knew he'd crossed the Rubicon. There was no going back to the way things were. Now he must either conquer Market Discussions or be annihilated in the attempt.

Although Fin tossed verbal hand grenades freely, other posters were convinced that the ISD would step in and put a stop to Fin's madness. Eventually.

Fin wasn't worried about being banned. He had faced the ISDs twice before and emerged unscathed both times.

Gazing across the Market Discussions subforum, Fin looked down upon the mortals and sneered.

An increasingly capricious Fin opened yet another thread. Everything had started with Fin's crusade against off-topic posts in Market Discussions. Now the subforum was littered with Fin's own off-topic musings on whatever subject he liked. Fin had become drunk with power--and was corrupted by it.

The community was appalled by Fin's transformation. They demanded answers. Fin casually fielded their questions as though he were at a press conference.

Fin's tentacles reached out into the other threads, as well. Fin, once a champion of the anti-bullying movement, slapped down the posters with insults. The off-topic bully had become the very things he hated most.

And then, silence.

Fin Udan could post no more.

The original trilogy of the Forum Freakout series was still in progress on MinerBumping, so Fin took advantage of the comments section to update everyone on his status. He still felt strongly that CCP and the ISD were biased against him.

Vowing revenge, Fin promised to return. If he ever does return, it likely will be under a new name; Fin Udan biomassed himself. Fin's ability to biomass himself means that although he can't post on the forums, his game account isn't banned.

Only after biomassing himself did Fin finally gain a convert to his cause. Anti-Ganker Nitshe Razvedka believed Fin had been provoked into acting the way he did. Nitshe followed in his mentor's footsteps by posting a thread in Market Discussions--which was immediately locked for being off-topic.

Such is the legacy of the notorious "Fun" Fin Udan.

    1. I just got an email from Mingling saying that the reason why he hasn't been on these forums is that he has been busy giving Wolf Soprano his anal Butt Nut. With so much Butt Nut going into Wolf's ass it is a wonder that it doesn't squirt out of his mouth by now.

  6. Fin was dead on target regarding CODEdot and Jimmy Boy 315. James 315 is an evil sociopath that should be put to the sword, in game. Then we can see what decadent implants that he is using. James 315 is drunk with power and has long been corrupted by it. Those of you who follow him have been deceived for he is the false prophet, and all who worship his image shall taste the righteous fire of the lake and be consumed.

    1. Whats with all the salt friend?

And why is Fin Fun able to resurect his character? How the hell is he not perma'd.
His brand new eve who page links to his old posts so it seems that this is the same character, just un-biomassed.
Does that not require CCP intervention?

He has got to be an isd or gm alt.

    2. Or maybe, just maybe, he biomassed his character and then created a new one with the same name?

    2. Context Sami, context. It's helpful to others if you introduce and quit your comments properly, giving them some sense of structure.

Here, you've begun with what - in most constructions in the English language - would generally be regarded as a closing comment; a summary. You haven't, however, given it any context.

Thus, we're reduced to puzzling out who 'they' might be. The pun on 'path' and 'sociopath' is completely wasted, because the words are not synonymous in our language, despite appearances.

The path of the CODE. Alliance is a clear one, set out by the Saviour of Highsec in his hugely influential work, The Code.

'Sociopathic' is hardly descriptive of a group of comrades whose aim it is to make life pleasant for all within an area with porous borders.

I'm surprised that a spiritual warrior like yourself, Sami, has elected to tread a path which will not produce the expected results.

    3. You speak plenty but do occasionally hit the point also. My comment was inspired by the great words of mr. Wolf Soprano (and I use the word "great" loosely here) when he said:

"Well you know what they say -

Code kills miners while antiganking kills minors"

I'm not surprised that you choose not to react to that, and that it's being repeated in almost every post. And as we have heard many times in different forms, repetition is a form of bot aspirancy.

Well.. repetition is not something we can honestly accuse you, mr Rob, but you hide behind clever words and false wisdom.
