Previously, on MinerBumping... Agent Hero Of HiSec was in for the fight of his life when he found himself face to face with his arch-nemesis, Rayze Adoudel.
Rayze promised to wage a long-term campaign of vengeance against Hero. Our Agent's life in EVE would never be the same.
Later, Hero returned to Hek, only to find Rayze's sidekick Jack U'up causing a scene. Hero punished the miner to remind him of the consequences of such misbehavior.
Jack U'up remained defiant. He'd obviously been emboldened by Rayze. But where was she?
Hero suspected something was up. Jack usually didn't stray far from Rayze. Was this a distraction? On a hunch, Hero jumped next door to Nakugard.
Hero's instincts were right as usual. He quickly located Rayze in Nakugard, reshipped into a Catalyst, and ganked her Covetor.
Rayze raged. Another of her followers, William Malabo, chimed in. He, too, had been ganked by Hero.
Hero recognized Vadden Yvormes, as well. Rayze seemed to be rallying everyone who held a grudge against our Agent.
Agent Hero had been busy, and his work was paying off. Nearly everyone who spoke against him got ganked sooner or later. Hero was living up to his name.
Rayze tried to stir up opposition to the Code in local. Something interesting happened in the middle of her rant: The word "tis". Was Hero's style rubbing off, even on his arch-nemesis?
The rebel miner's campaign was derailed when she discovered, to her great displeasure, that Nakugard miners were buying permits and complying with the Code.
Even some critics of the New Order had decided it was safer to buy a permit. Rayze couldn't believe it.
Bot-aspirants are difficult to teach. They'd usually prefer to lose expensive ships rather than pay 10 million isk for safety. In the long run, however, the Code always prevails.
After all, the Code promises extraordinary benefits to everyone in EVE. Resistance to the Code only brings misery.
With no other tactics in her arsenal, Rayze appealed directly to the Saviour of Highsec. If she was hoping that Hero would get fired or something, she hoped in vain. Hero taught highsec a valuable lesson about substance over style. It doesn't matter whether an Agent speaks ye olde English or not. As long as a Catalyst kills miners, it's a good Cat.
How CODE acts:
ReplyDeleteGovernment agencies at all levels aimed to exclude Jews from the economic sphere of Germany by preventing them from earning a living. Jews were required to register their domestic and foreign property and assets, a prelude to the gradual expropriation of their material wealth by the state. Likewise, the German authorities intended to "Aryanize" all Jewish businesses, a process involving the dismissal of Jewish workers and managers, as well as the transfer of companies and enterprises to non-Jewish Germans, who bought them at prices officially fixed well below market value. From April 1933 to April 1938, "Aryanization" effectively reduced the number of Jewish-owned businesses in Germany by approximately two-thirds.
What code forces miners to pay for:
During the Nazi era, German authorities reintroduced the Jewish badge as a key element in their plan to persecute and eventually to destroy the Jewish population of Europe. They used the badge not only to stigmatize and humiliate Jews but also to segregate them and to watch and control their movements.
u sound gay AF
DeleteAlready rebutted.
DeleteLolqueer!
DeleteDidn't read it but it looks like a wall of impotent rage posted by a retard.
So what if he is gay, now you got issues with gay people? Yeah you sound like a fascist.
DeleteGood evening, New Eden. Allow me first to apologize for this interruption. I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of everyday routine, the security of the familiar, the tranquility of repetition, the totality of blogs. I enjoy them as much as any bloke. But in the spirit of commemoration, where upon important events of the past, usually associated with someone's death or the end of some awful bloody struggle, are celebrated with a nice holiday, I thought we could mark this November the 5th, a day that is sadly no longer remembered, by taking some time out of our daily lives to sit down and have a little chat. There are, of course, those who do not want us to speak. I suspect even now, orders are being shouted into telephones, and men with moderator accounts will soon be on their way. Why? Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well, certainly, there are those who are more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable. But again, truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, ganking. They were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you, and in your panic you turned to the now high chancellor, James 315. He promised you order, he promised you peace, and all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent. This night, I seek to end that silence. This night, I corrupt the MB to remind this community of what it has forgotten. A great citizen wished to embed the fifth of November forever in our memory. His hope was to remind the world that fairness, justice, and freedom are more than words; they are perspectives. So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this Code remain unknown to you, then I would suggest that you allow the fifth of November to pass unmarked. But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me, inside the gates of High Sec, and together we shall give them a fifth of November that shall never, ever be forgot.
ReplyDeleteHow many times can you apologize for the same interruption and still be considered sincere?
DeleteAbout as many times as it takes till one become irrelevant. Maybe in this case till the end of Eve. This is gonna be a while.
Delete-HA

DeleteLol. Must be a member of the High Sec Meh...
DeleteWhy try right? XD
But its no fun if they don't try, it makes a sport of us killing them.
DeleteHighsec is a bastion of egalitarianism thanks to Agents like Hero of HiSec. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteIt speaks as the party commands it to speak. Good job Jerry.
Deletewow antigankers are really failing hard right now
ReplyDeleteIts sad when your AG hubby still mad at you.
DeleteJeezus! How stupid are these carebears? Extortion is defined as a criminal act, making it illegal. Selling mining permits in EvE has been deemed legal by the ranking authority: CCP.
ReplyDeleteNo illegality means no extortion.
No wonder highsec mining shitters fail so hard at EvE, they are too stupid to understand the game developer's vision for the game.
I hope they are not propagating IRL, that's really gonna fuck our descendants over, letting all those bad genes loose in the pool.
;)
Ja we must not let them breed in RL or our glorious reich will never prosper.
DeleteThe Code always wins!
ReplyDeleteAlways!
Get a permit or get rekt, miners. Say 'miner' like you just stepped in dog shit and you now know how real EVE players feel.
