Christmas, already a popular holiday, got a big shot in the arm when A Highsec Christmas Carol was published on MinerBumping on December 25, 2013. Can you believe it's already been five years?
Sasha Nemtsov's audio version of A Highsec Christmas Carol serves as a worthy accompaniment to the classic text. Indeed, it's hard to imagine spending the holiday season without listening to it at least once.
You know, there's been a lot of talk this year about newbies and "newbros" and "new returning players". Most of these supposed new players are hardened bot-aspirants masquerading behind yet another layer of excuses for their Code violations. However, if someone is genuinely new to EVE, just imagine the sense of magic and wonder they would experience upon listening to A Highsec Christmas Carol for the very first time.
Give them that gift--the gift of Gankmas.
Merry Christmas to all Agents of The Code, and our glorious Saviour.
ReplyDeleteMerry Gankmas!
ReplyDeleteJames bless us, every one!
ReplyDelete-Galaxy Pig
Agents we have heard in Highsec
ReplyDeleteSweetly ganking or their domain.
And the miners in reply
Cry their tears in the local refrain.
Cooooooode Coooooooooode Cooooooode...
All praise be to Jaaaa aaames!
Cooooooode Coooooooooode Cooooooode...
All praise be to Jaaaa aaames!
Here's to 2019, the year of CODE!
ReplyDeleteI was a few months old newbee when I read Highsec Christmas Carol. It was indeed invigorating. Though The Code was always there to guide my steps in EvE.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas agents!
merry christmas agents of CODE.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone else remember kalynn shardani the antiganking moderator who killed his infant child and then himself because he was upset over a video game?
ReplyDeleteNever forget shardani, the guy who ganked his minor.
DeleteI haven't seen any real evidence, I tend to think it's not true. Not something to joke about regardless.
DeleteIt is no joke.
DeleteThink of it as a public service announcement.
Bot aspirancy is a mental disorder.

DeleteKarma Balancer, I think that calling it a mental disorder is rather over the top: some people just want to lazily mine whilst afk.
DeleteYes, it is an absolute cancer to the game, but going so far as to call it a mental disorder is ridiculous.
